Nicholas Diebel, President

Nicholas is Don’s youngest son and graduated with an economics degree from Rollins College.  Nicholas attended Rollins on a golf scholarship and was Captain of the team. Nicholas brings experience from years of sitting on the board of the Diebel Legacy Fund and other community service involvement in the Central Florida community. He is now President of the fund and under his leadership the Fund has had significant growth in its reach in the community as well as fundraising success.

Co-Founder, OB & GYN Specialists, Board Member

President of the Fund, Don’s father— Dr. Don Diebel Sr. is the President of the Fund and has served in that role since its founding. Professionally, he is well known and respected both locally and nationally in his medical specialty. He co-founded OB & GYN Specialists, PA in 1977 and has served in several leadership positions with Orlando Health. Don Sr. keeps The Diebel Legacy Fund on track and leads the organization’s ongoing efforts.

Marvin Snyder, Board Member

Marvin Snyder currently serves as Assistant Principal at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Florida.  He has over 15 years of experience in K-12 schools having served as a classroom teacher, Director of Admissions and PR, Director of Instruction, and Vice President of Advancement.  Marvin is a proud product of 13 years of parochial education himself.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wittenberg University, a Master of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University, and an Education Specialist degree from National Louis University.  Marvin has been married to his wife Denise for 21 years and the two have four children together, a son who is a junior at BMC this year and triplets in the 7th grade at St. James Cathedral School.

Peter Diebel, Board Member

Peter Diebel is President, Zipline Performance; President, Zipline Green.  Don’s brother— Pete’s main interest in the fund involves outreach. His vision directed the new Medical Samaritan program. He also has worked on the Fund’s Award Program. Pete served on the Board of Advisors until 2007, when he moved to the Board of Directors. He takes responsibility for technology management on the board.

Christine Diebel Hempsted, M.S., Board Member

Christine is a Guidance Counselor at Trinity Prep.  Don’s sister— Chris brings a commitment to Don’s memory and helps the Fund remain faithful to his altruistic legacy. She served on the Board of Advisors until 2007, when she moved to the Board of Directors.

Liam Diebel, Board Member

Liam Diebel, 24 years old, is Don's middle son and was raised in Winter Park. After completing Junior High School, Liam attended Culver Military Academy, graduating in 2016, then moving on to attend Baylor University majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration.  He currently works in the United States House of Representatives in Washington D.C. As a board member, he wishes to carry the legacy that Don left behind and continue helping all that are in need.
