Board of Directors From the founding days of the Diebel Legacy Fund, it has been our family’s goal to build it up and then turn the reigns over to the next generation—to Don Diebel Jr.’s sons. Nicholas R. Diebel, President Nicholas R. Diebel, President Nicholas graduated in 2022 from Rollins College with a degree in Economics, and is currently pursuing his MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business. Nicholas is a life-long golfer—a sport his father loved to play—which has afforded him many opportunities to soak up knowledge and memories from many of his father’s oldest friends. Nicholas is in fact a living legacy of Don Diebel Jr. and has brought new life and energy to the Diebel Legacy Fund. N. Donald Diebel, Sr. M.D., Chairperson As Don’s father, Dr. Diebel Sr. co-founded the Diebel Legacy Fund and served as its President for over 15 years. Professionally, he is well known and respected both locally and nationally in his medical specialty. He co-founded OB & GYN Specialists, PA in 1977 and has served in several leadership positions with Orlando Health. Don Sr. keeps The Diebel Legacy Fund on track and mentors the organization’s new President. Christine Diebel Hempsted, Board Member Christine is a Guidance Counselor at Trinity Preparatory School. Don’s sister— Chris brings a commitment to Don’s memory and helps the Fund remain faithful to his altruistic legacy. She served on the Board of Advisors until 2007, when she moved to the Board of Directors. Chris has been married to her husband Dave for 31 years and the two have three sons together. Liam A. Diebel, Board Member Liam Diebel, 24 years old, is Don's middle son and was raised in Winter Park. He graduated from Baylor University in 2020, where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration. He currently works in the United States House of Representatives in Washington D.C. As a board member, he wishes to carry the legacy that Don left behind and continue helping all that are in need. Peter H. Diebel, Board Member Pete Diebel is President of Zipline Green. Don’s brother— Pete’s main interest in the fund involves outreach. His vision directed the creation of the Medical Samaritan Program and the Diebel Legacy Fund’s KNIGHTS Clinic. He served on the Board of Advisors until 2007, when he moved to the Board of Directors. Pete has a son, Reilly, who attends Bishop Moore Catholic High School. Marvin Snyder, Board Member Marvin Snyder currently serves as Assistant Principal at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Orlando, Florida. He has over 15 years of experience in K-12 schools having served in myriad roles. Marvin is a proud product of 13 years of parochial education himself. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wittenberg University, a Master of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University, and an Education Specialist degree from National Louis University. Marvin has been married to his wife Denise for 21 years and the two have four children together, a son who is a sudent at BMC and triplets who attend St. James Cathedral School. |
